MIDDLE WAY YOGA AND FITNESS: FRIDAY 6-8:30pm
Combining the precision of postural yoga with the rigors of modern functional fitness exercises, this class is designed to strengthen and condition the entire body and leave the practitioner feeling strong and capable, responsible and in control of their range of motion.
SALUTATIONS: SATURDAY 11:30-2:00pm
Learn fun and fluid salutations that incorporate what you've learned from modern classics and build upon them with logical innovations. Step, hop, lift, shift your practice into gears you didn't know you had.
CENTERING SKILLS: SATURDAY 3:30-6:00pm
Learn simple and effective techniques that relate your center of gravity to the placement of your extremities. Alignment is not a static and fixed set of relationships, rather it it is a fluid and ongoing reorganization of relationships between parts of the body that are negotiated according to intent. Learn to look out for your own needs in this simple but not simplistic postural alignment class.
MULTI-INTENSO: SUNDAY 11:30-2:00pm
Multiple methods of physicality combined to create an intense experience of ones ability to persevere and willingness to get swept along by the rhythmic waves of postures both sequenced and choreographed to music and cues that often rhyme, which might not make them more true, but more enjoyable to listen to.
